Marijuana
I've nothing personal against people who smoke in private, and support ongoing scientific research into what really works, and what really does not work, in regard to marijuana's legitimate use in medical applications. As a former addict though, I'm bothered by this belief, perpetuated by the agenda driven falsehoods of NORML, Marijuana Policy Project, and similar organizations, that marijuana poses no danger. Whether they like it or not, there is a steady rising tide of testimony, evidence, research, and studies, showing that America has been duped, and is now facing a health crisis that rivals that of the one perpetuated by the tobacco industry. But more important, there is the rise of organizations led by parents, who have experienced first hand how their children have suffered and even died as a result of marijuana. gfs
