Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania
During the Spring of 2008, Jean Tress and I took a 3-day vacation north to Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, located in the area of the Tioga State Forest, the main attraction being the nearby "Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania," a.k.a. the Pine Creek Gorge. The weather was mostly cold and overcast, with even a little snow, but we did manage to get out one day and visit the two parks on either rim of the canyon.

Porcupine
Jean got a shot of this critter hanging out front of the visitors center, when we returned from the northern part of Leonard Harrison State Park.
Middle Ridge United Methodist Church
Located six miles southwest of Wellsboro, this is the quintessential "Little Red Church."

I found this fossil along the east side of route 287, near the Tioga - Hammond Recreational Area.

Green Dino
There were a number of these scrap metal sculptures around Wellsboro, dinosaurs, frogs, and bugs. Suddenly, we hit the mother load. This was shot in front of a house that had them all over. I'm sure this was the home of the artist.
