Commentary / Articles / Quotes
With regard to my commentary, my world view is what it is because of the effects of my situation while growing up.
I clearly remember at age 14, standing in the driveway of the house in Parkville, and making the decision that I wasn't going to be like my bigoted parents.
In retrospect, I now realize that, at least for me, this will be a lifelong effort. This is why I have issues with hate. I've seen the destruction it can cause, both within a family and in society, and how it can get passed through generations. I need to talk about my experience, and how it is a reflection of a far greater harm. 3/7/2014
