Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey: This is who is responsible for Trump's election
"America is responsible for Donald Trump being president."
Deplorables understand the why of this. However, liberals and “progressives,” in their typical avoidance of reality, come up with all kinds of excuses to explain why Hillary lost, and all kinds of reasons as to why they despise Donald Trump.
One of my longest and dearest friends, a liberal, complained recently about Trump’s tweeting, specifically the subject content and the amount, “No other President’s done that!”
As I explained, Washington, Lincoln, both Roosevelt’s, Bush #1, Clinton the 1st, and even Bush #2 would be hard pressed to tweet, as Twitter didn’t exist until 2006.
As for Trump, considered by his detractors to be a stupid Neanderthal (as are all Republicans), in spite of his advanced age - relatively speaking - has mastered a new technology, something that many in their older years would find hard, if not impossible to do.
What he has inadvertently done, is to show his mental acuity, something that the liberal mindset will not tolerate and perpetually deny.
To me, the most important of all, is his expression of opinion, and standing up to personal attacks.
“Progressives” are upset by this, because this is just not done - even though they do it all the time. I mean, what do they expect? I’ve seen this attitude in my own exchanges on Facebook, “You stupid so-and-so, how dare you say that we’re no better then those we condemn!” (paraphrase)
And that’s just it! Hillary, In declaring that, “I too am a “Progressive,” and labeling Trump supporters as Deplorable, revealed her true self - a bigot.
With Trump, even though you might disagree with some of his ideas, at least you know where he stands.
Hillary on the other hand, as with most politicians, has learned how to disguise her disdain for those she considers to be intellectually and morally inferior. And that's why many choose an un-polished outsider to be President.
While I don't feel that Trump will solve all the myriad problems our nation faces, at the very least, he will push the pendulum of reason back towards a center of objectivity, something that is long overdue.
