Tolerance and it's Unequal Application
While it's not an infringement, the supposed equality of tolerance is often not applied equally by those who denigrate those whom they think are intolerant.
A recent example was the reaction to the comment of former Republican presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee, “If Democrats want to insult the women of America by making them believe that they are helpless without Uncle Sugar coming in and providing them a prescription each month for birth control because they cannot control their libido or their reproductive system without the help of government, then so be it."
That statement, of course, deserved a response. What stood out to me though, were the assumptions that denigrated roughly 1/2 of the U.S. population, roughly 109,000,000 million people.
"War on Women". The trouble with adhering to slogans is that they are a convenient way to avoid the work that has to be done in order to see an issue objectively. At the heart of Huckabee's comment, is the issue of government controlling an individual's life.

… “Hating people because of their color is wrong. And it doesn't matter which color does the hating. It's just plain wrong.”
